- But anyway - GarageBand on the Mac and the iPad do not have much in common, apart of the name. GarageBand on the iPad is great for playing the smart instrument and to use it as a musical instrument in a Jam session, but arranging a song and editing regions is very limited.
- GarageBand on the Mac is much better for editing and mixing a project, and it has more loops and sounds, because a Mac usually has a large disk drive to store them. But because the Mac does not have a touch screen, there are no touch instruments on a Mac.
